Entry #00030

I haven't blogged in a while, but being pregnant made me extremely exhausted and ontop of that I had hyperemesis gravadarum which means I couldn't stop vomiting....fun fun.

That is all over now though because on May 8th I went in for an emergency C-section. I was leaking amniotic fluid and there was no choice but for the doctors to deliver the baby. I was only at 24 weeks gestation so the baby just reached the age of viability. We didn't know what we were having until they delivered her and said, its a girl. Right now she's in the NICU at Good Samaritin hospital and doing very well for her size and age. She was a week old yesterday and I'm just crossing my fingers for another week to pass with no bad news.

We named her Allison Kaye Seiter. Allison, just because we liked it and Kaye because that's my mother's middle name and I can't think of anyone I'd I want my baby to be like more than my mom. She was 1 pound and 4 ounces at birth but she dropped about 2 ounces which is normal for any newborn. I will make sure to pu up some pictures the minute Chris brings the disc back from work or wherever he has it.

If anyone reading this is even MILDLY religious, please pray for my precious baby girl. I can't think of anything else at this point that will pull her through 100%.

Congratulations, hon! (Sorry it took so long, I've been dealing with a lot of things over on my end.) I'm keeping you and everyone in my thoughts...
